Fun for all the family

Sisters with Blisters South Downs Mighty Hike!!

As in true ‘Three Musketeers traditional style - all for one
and one for all!!’

Claire, Inma and Bonnie have set themselves the challenge of
completing the South Downs Mighty Hike of 26.2 miles in aid and support of the Macmillan cancer support.

Every step of the way the girls will be thinking ….just why
did I agree to this?? I could be at home all comfy with a glass of wine.
Instead when their feet, legs and every other bit start to complain that they want to stop the Sisters with Blisters will continue until the end – no doubt they will be laughing and chatting all the way.

The reason the Sisters with Blisters
will achieve their goal is a simple one and hopefully one that will keep them on the right track as they go up and down dale to reach the end.

IT IS BECAUSE THEY WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE to someone else’s life who might be facing the biggest challenge of all - a life threatening illness.

Celebrations at New Haw Library

Posted on behalf of New Haw Library
We have a lot to celebrate

The Library has been operating for 5 years as a Community Partner Library so we want to thank all our Volunteers for their dedication and hard work in keeping the library a viable part of the community.

We had lots of our younger members take part in the Summer Reading Challenge and they are to be rewarded with certificates and medals.

The new children's area is now open after extensive refurbishment.

Come along for tea and cake and join in the celebrations.

The Runnymede Mayor will be in attendance.
